Holiday Inn - the niu, Fender Amsterdam

Generally the hotel is good value for money and not close to town so you have a slice of staying away from The main city.

The breakfast wasn’t bad. However it was the same every morning. No pancakes, no waffles. Good selection of bread. I love the view from the breakfast place. The room was very spacious for the 3 of us. The bathroom was very big. The area felt safe to walk no doubt.

The location was lovely and quiet compared to the city center which was a really nice contrast after spending the day in the city. Our taxi driver told us on the way there that we had picked a good spot as no-one can sleep in the city! The room was immaculate and decorated in a really cool, modern style and couldn't fault room service either. Hotel staff were friendly, easy-going and helpful. Only thing was the hotel was a good 40-50 min walk from the center, which we braved everyday but this didn't turn out to be an issue. We saw loads of sites and attractions we wouldn't have seen if we had been any closer and got to experience more of Amsterdam - the quiet parts outside of the city are really beautiful. The whole experience was very straight forward and a breeze would definitely come back again. Oh and can't forget the stunning view of the harbour from our room, the harbour is stunning!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. The room was big with enough space for all three of us, beds were comfortable and we had really nice view! We also really liked having a kettle and small fridge in our room, it made our stay much easier. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we had a small problem with the tv in our room and they were able to help us pretty quickly.
